Your Weekly Dose of Knowledge
Kit’s weekly article roundup
Since Medium still can’t figure out their algorithm, I spend most of my time on other platforms. I run a few newsletters, do client work, and write for projects that I love.
However, I don’t want to neglect Medium altogether.
This is where I started my writing journey, and I’m proud of my portfolio here. I’ve also met the most remarkable people here, and every week, I get more readers signed up to get my articles via email.
Wow!
I’ll write here occasionally in the future, but in the meantime, I will use Medium to give you a snapshot of my work.
I’ll share links to articles I’ve published throughout the week.
My blog posts written exclusively for Medium haven’t seen much traction — even when published in bigger pubs. So, screw it.
My theme in life is not doing what people tell me to do, so I don’t know why I’d start here.
Let’s go.
The Latest
A back injury earlier this year meant I spent the summer in bed.
It sucked. A lot.
I worked from my laptop lying down and rarely left my house. Since I’m a freelance writer, I work alone. Going to exercise classes was a social event for me, and I was injured, so that was gone.
I was lonely and in a ton of pain.
When I finally could move around a little more, I realized that my clothes didn’t fit.
Here’s why I’m not worried about it.
I Went Up 2 Sizes in the Last Year. This Is Why I’m Not Sweating It.
I’m not worried about my size, but I am concerned about this back issue.
Just as I was emerging from the pain haze, I hurt my back again by sleeping. Yep, you read that right — sleeping. I fell asleep on the couch, woke up in agonizing pain, and now I’m looking for a new doctor.
Constant pain will wear you down.
Eventually, you’ll have to seek medical attention if you can find it.
I’m Not All Right. Thanks for Asking.
Most of my work is writing about retail and advocating for people who work on the frontlines.
Each week, I publish a new edition of The Voice of the Frontline.

Retail is the Harvard of Leadership
Thanks for hanging out with me and reading my work.
Tune in next week for another article roundup.
Stay rad,
Kit
